The pure clay is mixed with a special activated charcoal compound that imparts beneficial health properties to the pot and the tea infused in it, similar to our Premium Taiwan Teapot 006.
Such special properties include keeping the tea hot longer and eliminating any unpleasant tastes in the water used to steep the tea. Additionally, tea infused in this pot is "microstructured" due to the activated charcoal compound, unlocking the most subtle flavours within the tea leaves.

Especially recommended: invest a little time every now and then to gently polish your pot with a microfibre cloth. This is due to the natural oolong tea oils that absorb into the clay.
